Abby's first Cardinals game...they won & she didn't like the fireworks! She had a fun time with the boys. Uncle Ben, Papa & Daddy took her on the train to the baseball game, so it was a SUPER fun time!
We had our first Mighty Ball Soccer practice/game last Saturday. Whew. It is sure a challenge to get 3 year olds to listen & even come close to playing soccer! As you can see, Abby & Caleb were using the holding hands maneuver. I don't know much about soccer, but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen this move in an MLS game! :)
I finally remember to take a picture! GG Aunt Frances & GG Betty were here too, but I didn't remember then. I MUST do better!! :) You would think I just had a baby or something -- HA!
Here we are! Just a week & 3 days after Rebekah was born. Abby had a GREAT birthday & now we have even more toys in the basement. Time for a Goodwill run...
Here are Daddy & Abby...it's big girl birthday time. We went to Chuck E. Cheese with Gibby to celebrate on the actual day. We thought it might be good to give her a little something of her own since it's been BABY time at the house for a week. This is Abby getting a sugar high after the pizza & play. She used her tickets for candy -- truthfully, it's not like we won enough tickets for much else! Bekah slept through her first experience there, so Mommy got to play a little too! Daddy won at air hockey though...maybe Mommy let him??? :)
Abby was so cute with Rebekah. She wanted to be up on my bed when I was feeding her & she wanted to hold her right away. I am very impressed with her interest -- she will help change diapers even. Mostly, things are going really well with them...as you might imagine, Abby has her moments! I told her the other day that Mommy knows it's not always easy being the oldest! :) Oh first borns are fun...
Okay, I know I am WAY behind, but I do have a newborn. My excuse for the last 9+ months was that I was pregnant! See...I can go forever with these excuses. :) I am going to post some pics of her & then I tell the exciting story of her birth (and hopefully won't get too graphic for some of you!).
