deactivated

I feel like a robot.
I have now deactivated my facebook account.

Can I just say,
WOOHOO.

While facebook has been great to get back in touch with
& reacquainted with people I haven't spoken to in years...
it has also been a huge time suck.
HUGE.

So yes,
I have a time management problem.
I'm not going to set timers.
Or just do it into the wee hours...

I would rather be creating something that I can see & doing something I truly enjoy.
I love to sew.
And scrapbook.
And play games with my girlies.
Read books.
Exercise.
Read my BIBLE.
{One of my friends commented that her relationship to the Lord might benefit by taking the facebook time & reading her Bible. As Bekah would say, "Amen sister."} :)
I want a piano. And to play again.
I want to learn how to play the guitar.
I have lots of things I'd rather be doing than seeing what someone wants to tell me about every 20 minutes.

You get it, right?
If you don't, I'm sorry.
I wish I had it in me to allot the perfect amount of time to it.
But it sucks me in.
I get tired & it sucks me in too late most nights &
I want to be a good mommy.
Won't you still be my friend?

Bloggy love,

Sounds like a good plan to me! Just keep the blog going is all the courthouse asks! Can't wait to hear how you use your "new" time - I'm sure it will be wisely! :)

I agree with the BLOG but life is too short to not be doing the things you love to do and those little ones will be grown by the time you turn around. Love, GA Shirley

Well, I'll miss you, but I understand. I'm tempted to do the same. You make a good case. Although, I was a little hurt that I was unfriended, but at least we can all talk about you behind your back now. ;0)

I'm thinking I should sign back on facebook to tell everyone I am deactivating. For people that don't read my blog, it might seem a little rude!

Don't worry Mom & GA Shirley...the blog won't die! Oh, and I love the sarcasm, Mom. Don't you worry, I know what YOU do with all your free time. :)
